"First Step" - we are already supporting education of 320 children in Aleppo

"The First Step" ("Pierwszy Krok") is a new project implemented with our partners from Caritas Archidiocosie of the City of Lodz in Poland. It is based on special relations between donors from Poland (families, companies, churches or individuals) and Syrian children.

Donors from Poland declare monthly support for the child, which provides a special scholarship to meet the main needs of the poorest children: books, transport, tuition fees, etc.

This project is detached from a similar project, initiated by Caritas from the branch in Poland, called Wings, ("Skrzydła") where scholarships are thus made by private donors to the poorest Polish children.

So far The First Step program already includes scholarships for 320 children from Aleppo. We implement the project in cooperation with the Latin Parish, which is responsible for financial care and verification of families.
