Greetings from Club du Bonheur in Cairo!

Cairo parish of Saint Mark on Shoubra has been working closely with our Association for over 5 years. Many members and sympathizers of Dom Wschodni - Domus Orientalis feel home among priests and parishioners. We can safely say that we are not only co-workers, but above all, friends. This is main puropose of our activity: meeting which brings to friendship.
The main project in Cairo, which is the focus of both the parish of St. Mark and the Association is the Club du Bonheur, a center for the disabled. We supported the purchase of a bus, kitchen renovation and installation of air conditioning in the rooms. We organized workshops for teachers and students. All this allows us to feel part of this extraordinary place where the most needy receive support and love.
Ks. Przemysław Szewczyk and Alina Goska, who have been in Cairo in July, were present at the last meeting of teachers and students of Club du Bonheur last summer. Everyone sends you heartfelt greetings and big thanks for every support from Poland.
And if your travels will take you to Cairo one day, you must visit the parish of St. Mark on Shoubra: Metro Masarra station, exit to Shoubra Street, then 200 m towards Ramisis square and the first street after the gas station to the right. You will see the church without a problem.
