Support production and instalation of artificial limbs!

 A small NGO The Human Centre for Installation and Manufacture Artificial Limbs from Tartus is run under the Syriac Church in cooperation with our partner’s organization EPDC (St Ephrem Development Comitee). Led by father Bulos, the NGO performs heroic work to help injured Syrians from all parts of Syria including Raqqa.

 We visited Tartus for the first time last year. Father Bulos told us that he received funds from UNDP to equip the "clinic", but he has a constant problem with raising funds for rent and other charges. The Centre operates on a two-level, small, provisionally equipped space: downstairs there is a workshop and a rehabilitation room, and on the first floor there is an office with a warehouse.

 The entire process from diagnostics through the production and installation of artificial limbs, as well as the rehabilitation of patients, is carried out by two very gifted ladies. They helped to bring back the mobilty of dozens of children and adults, but the waiting list is still growing. Domus Orientalis has already donated the first funds for the Center's current expenses, but we need your help to continue support!
